Moon Explorers is a family club where everyone is equal, and we use ranks to reward people who put time and effort into the club to help make it what it is! Below is all our ranks and what each one means, as well as what we base your rank off.

Leaders help run the club alongside the owner. They help with events, social media, and any decisions made within the club. They are here to help and you can contact them anytime on their social media or through SSO mail. Leaders get a special bridle.

What are ranks based off of?
There are a number of factors that affects your rank in the club! We like to use them to reward people for the time and effort they put towards the club. Without the members the club wouldn't be much afterall!
The main factors we look at are:
How active someone is - How many events someone comes to, how active someone is in SSO club chat and on our club social media chats (Discord, WhatsApp, Instagram).
How many/how often someone hosts events - Events are the main thing that keeps the club active and fun to partake in, but they take a lot of effort to plan and host! We like to reward anyone who takes the time to host them with their rank.
How long someone has been in the club = The longer you've been in the club, the higher rank you will gain! Of course, you have to be active in the club to climb high in the ranks; someone who has been in the club for 6 months but doesn't come online isn't going to get as high of a rank as someone who does! In our Discord Server we have "roles" for the amount of time someone has been in the club. Once you reach a milestone (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year etc) you will receive a role to showcase it that will change the colour of your name in our Discord.
How friendly someone is to other members - It's not a hard thing to do to be kind to everyone, but it still deserves to be rewarded! Being kind and helpful to other members will earn you a higher rank in the club.
How helpful someone is - There are many things in the club you can help out with, such as writing blog posts, being a mailer for our open events, and many other little tasks that might pop up. We appreciate anyone who helps out with tasks like these, because the owner and leaders can not do everything unfortunately. There are also smaller ways you can help out if you don't get the chance to do bigger tasks in the club like those, such as helping people run their events (often people will host/plan events together!), helping people by answering any questions they might have (inside and outside the club), and generally helping anyone who needs it!

All of these things factor into what rank you get in the club. As long as you're a kind, active member who comes to events when they can you'll rise through the ranks no problem! We review everyone's ranks every 2 weeks, though they might not always change every time!
