Hello! Today, Nikolett Highfoot (Nik) held a "Top Of the Pops" event. At 7pm, we all gathered in the mall in club uniform with a clear inventory. The clear inventory was for the games that we would play later on in the event. The first game was called "Guess the Song". In this game, Nik would say a random line of lyrics from any song. The person that shouted out the song title and artists' names first, won a point. Hazel Birchwild won this game. Examples of this are below. "My boy lives his friends like I love my split ends, and by that I mean." - My boy, Billie Ellish "See me ride out of the sunset, on your colour TV screen, out for all that I can get." - TNT/ACDC "I'm so sick of this fake love, fake love, fake love." - Fake Love, BTS "Hide behind the screen cause they're just so mean, but we don't play it like that, we don't even fight back." - Boomerang, Jojo Siwa Now this game was where the clear inventory came in handy. It was called "Recreate the Outfit." On the club discord, Nik would post an image of a music artist. We had five minutes to use the clothes that we had in our storage to best recreate the outfit. Then, we would return to the bottom of the stairs so that our outfits could be judged. The person who's outfit was recreated the best won the round. The overall winner of this game was Katelyn Sealand with Sophia Puppyvalley and Georgia Winterrider being runner ups. Below is an example of an outfit we had to recreate. To finish, we had a Freestyle Round with a catwalk. To catwalk, we walked up the stage and performed for Nik. We had some interesting cats and Jojo Siwas performing. Madelyn Nightmountain won this round with Tuva Clearwater in second and Katelyn Sealand in third. To conclude, this event was really enjoyable and everyone loved it.
Goodbye for now, - Sushi

Hey guys! We all started off by meeting at Marley's Farm for 7:30 dressed in uniform on our Morgans. Map then explained the first game which was called "Musical Hooves". For this game, we all had Discord open and joined the Discord call where Map put on some music. When the music was playing, we had to walk around the paddock. Once it stopped, we had 10 seconds to run and jump on any object in Marley's Farm e.g a hay bale, barrel or table. If we didn't find an object in time or failed to get on top of the object, then we were out of the game. To make the game harder, Map said that you couldn't jump on a specific object like a hay bale. We did a few rounds of this game and then moved on to the next one which was "Never Have I Ever". In this game, we all stood in a circle on our horses in the paddock, which proved to be quite a difficult task itself. Map then said a statement e.g Never have I ever skipped school, and if that statement applied to you, we would dismount and crouch in the middle of the circle. If it didn't, we stayed mounted. We went around the circle so the person next to Map said a statement then the next person and so on. We learnt a lot about each other in this game! The last game was called "Quick Trivia". We all crouched at one of the jump in Marley for our starting point, and then Map explained the game. Map would ask a series of questions, and we all had 1 minute to PM her the answer and if we got it right we got to advance to the next jump, but if we got it wrong, we stayed at the jump. This carried on until someone reached the final jump! Here are some example questions: "What was the first horse model to have its own unique, non stiff animations?" "How many home stables are there in Jorvik?" "When was Silverglade updated?" Thank you Map for a fun event!
See you next time, - Nik Today, Moon Explorers held their first Open Event of 2019! Thank you to you all for coming and we hope to see you all again soon. As usual, we all gathered at the paddock near Dew's Farm at 6:15pm. Once there, we were split into groups and headed off to our different locations to meet the Riding Instructors. The first game played was called "Word Play". In this game, the host would give a random category and letter to the chat. We had to call out as many words as we could think of beginning with the letter and fitting to the category. The winner would be the person with the most words shouted out. For example: MOVIE TITLES - A: Alvin and the Chipmunks, Alice and Wonderland and Annie. MUSIC ARTISTS - R: Rihanna and Rita Ora. "Sleeping Bears" was the name of the second game. To play, someone had to be a bear and the others had to line up in a crouched line behind the bear. When the bear had its back turned, we had to creep up behind them at a crouch walk. As the bear turned around, we had to quickly stop as to not be noticed. If we were noticed, we would be sent back to the beginning. The winner was the first person to touch the bear without being caught. For the final game, we played "Simon Says". If the "Simon" gave out an instruction with "Simon Says" before it, we would copy. (E.g "Simon says dismount.") To make it hard, if the Simon did not say "Simon Says", you wouldn't complete the action. (E.g "Dismount.")If you were the last person to complete the action or did not complete it, you were out. Also, if you did an action that did not have "Simon Says" in it, you would be out.
After the final game, we all hacked to Cresent Moon Village to meet up with the other groups. Once there, we stood in line for a picture before heading off to search for a picnic. Whilst we had the picnic, the members of ME voted for who they thought should join the club. We would like to give a big welcome to Lauren Meadowwood, Isabel Iceworth, Hazel Birchwild and a big welcome back to Lauren Springpie! Goodbye for now, - Sushi To celebrate their upcoming birthdays, Geo and Maddy held a birthday event. We wish them both an early happy birthday and an amazing day! In party clothes, we all met up at Steve's Farm with a fast horse. Once there, we began our first game. The first game was held in Silverglade Village. This game was hide and seek but all members had to be dismounted and you had to stay in SGV. Also, no one was allowed to glitch into rocks/ buildings at all. When you were found, you had to report back to the silverglade village fountain. Whilst waiting, we fecided to crouch with the ducks to keep them company. The winner of the first round was Juana Bigstorm and the winner of the second round was Lena Maplefall!
"Cops and Robbers" was the name of the second game. After heading over to Moorland Stables, we began. As the name suggests, the Cops were against the Robbers and had to try to stop them. To stop a robber, you had to group them and once caught, they had to go to jail that was back in Moorland Stables. On the other hand, the Robbers had to mail Maddy and Geo with the phrase "I robbed" and run away. Robbers were given a ten second start ahead of the Cops. For this event, we had to bring a red and a blue shirt. Robbers wore red shirts and the Cops wore blue. For our final game, we played "Capture the Flag". The Blues (originally Cops) headed over to FP which was their base. The Reds (originally Robbers) had their base over in Moorland. To play the game, some of your team would need to attack and some would need to defend. To attack, you needed to run to the enemy's base uncaught and stay in their stable for 3 seconds to collect the flag. Then, you had to run back to your own base and shout "I've got the flag!" without being caught. If caught, you had to go back to your base empty handed and needed to go to jail. To defend, you had to do as before and group the attackers to stop them. Both teams drew in this game. To conclude, this event was a great way to use teamwork and was enjoyed by all. Happy Birthday again! Goodbye for now. -Sushi |
