Social Media: @lizponyson on Instagram. ☾ Long Questions When, why and how did you join Moon Explorers/Frosty Roses? I first joined Frosty Roses some time in 2016, back when Ava Northstar owned the club. I managed to join straight away as there wasn't any open events around at that time, and I had always wanted to join Frosty Roses as I saw so many people from the club everywhere I went, and that everyone had such great friendships and laughs with each other. I left and rejoined a couple times, but since 19th October 2017 I've stayed in the club. What is your favourite thing about Moon Explorers? My favourite thing about Moon Explorers is how easy it is to make such great friends with everyone. I've met some of the best people through ME and I'm glad to say that they're my friends and I hope they will be for a long time! I've never felt left out or ignored and I feel ME is a great place to make long lasting friendships. What is your favourite thing about SSO? My favourite thing about SSO is the horses they've created. I think it's so cool how much detail they put into them and how they've improved since the beginning of the game. It's great to see the difference between the old models and the new updated models, as they look completely different but much better! ☾ Quick Questions Do you hear laurel or yanny? Yanny. Do you have any pets in real life? Yes, 1 cat, 2 rabbits and 4 gerbils. What is your favourite film? The Greatest Showman. What is your favourite music? Pop. Social Media: @hannahdolphincamp on Instagram. ☾ Long Questions When, why and how did you join Moon Explorers/Frosty Roses? I joined Frosty Roses on the 1st March 2018. Before applying I had a few friends telling me how great FR was, and in the end I decided I would apply for the club. I was quite close to Georgia Winterrider and Connie Ravenwood at the time, and when they both joined they helped massively in the joining process, including helping me get to know a few other members. Then, after 4 open events, I finally managed to join. I'm so happy I applied because ME is absolutely incredible! What is your favourite thing about Moon Explorers? I think one of my favourite things about Moon Explorers is the people I have met whilst in the club. The club has helped me find so many of my close friends I don't think I would have met otherwise, and everyone is absolutely amazing. I also love the events that are hosted, whether it's a casual event or a quite difficult one, I think everyone puts so much effort into them. I'm so grateful to V for making the club in the first place, to Li for carrying on and to Alli for bringing it to where it is today. The Leaders have done so much for us and helped us out in many situations too. What is your favourite thing about SSO? One thing is probably how unique the game is. Most of the time, you always seem to get a horse game which involves simply looking after it and making sure it's healthy. SSO gives you the freedom to explore an open world whilst doing hundreds of quests. It's also online which gives you the option to make some of the closest friends you'll ever meet, and they also give you the club option too which is the reason Moon Explorers is even here today. ☾ Quick Questions Do you hear laurel or yanny? Laurel. Do you have any pets in real life? Two cats. What is your favourite film? The Avengers - Infinity War. What is your favourite music? Pop. What is your most used emoji? 👏 What is your favourite horse breed? Arabian. What is your favourite social media? Instagram. What is your favourite SSO location? Dundull. What is your favourite SSO saddle bag pet? Fox. What Hogwarts house are you in? Ravcnclaw. ☾ Aye or Nay Pineapple on pizza? Nay. SSO championships? Aye. Foxes? Aye. Racing on SSO? Aye. SSO chat bans? Nay. Global chat available all around the game? Aye. Boy characters in the game? Aye. Coffee? Nay. Tea? Nay. Harry Potter? Aye. Thank you Liz and Ham for taking the time to answer these questions, and congrats on Member of the Month! You both deserve it!
Thank you for reading, and we'll see you again next month with another interview. - Alli

Hello everyone! Today Elizabeth Ponyson and Nikolett Highfoot hosted a sports day event. We started off by meeting in the Jorvik Stables Arena. To begin with, we were split up into two different teams; the red team which was lead by Nik and the blue team which was lead by Liz. For the whole event we would be competing for our teams trying to earn points by winning each activity. The first activity we did was the relay race. On foot, half of both teams had to stand at the top end and the other half at the bottom end of the arena each in single file. The people at the front of the line at the top end arena had to run to the other end and one by one each person that was at the front of the line on the opposite end would go once their team mate had reached them. It was very close, but in the end the winner was the red team. For the next activity, each team had to select two people to compete in the Jorvik Stables Elite Race. The blues chose Allison Cloudmore and April Easthurricane whilst the reds chose Sophia Puppyvalley and Paige Waterfall. In the end, Alli won the race meaning the blues were the winners for this activity. For the final activity, we played capture the flag in Jarlaheim. Liz and Nik were representing their teams flags with 2 defenders per team and the rest capturing the opposing teams flag. The defenders had to point at anyone they saw trying to capture their teams flag then that person would be out. However, the hard part was that the teams had no idea where the location of the opposing teams flag was meaning they had to do some searching! In the end, Pai managed to point at Liz without getting caught by the defenders meaning the reds won capture the flag! For the end of the event we gathered by the Jarlaheim fountain whilst Nik and Liz counted the points. In the end, it was a tie! Liz and Nik competed in a tie breaker for their teams, Alli called out a question and the first person to say the correct answer won for their team. In the end, Liz ended up winning for the Blue Team.
Thank you for hosting this event Liz and Nik, it was really enjoyable! - Ham Hey everyone! Today we hosted another open event for people on our waiting list to attend. Considering we did a mail check this week and cleared our waiting list from 160 down to 60 people, and that it's the summer holidays, a lot of people turned up! There were many new faces and I had a great time meeting and getting to know you all. This weeks open event was ocean themed! Why? No other reason than I like the ocean and it was the first theme I could think of. Everyone arrived at Dew's Paddock in Epona for 6:15 dressed in blue, ocean themed clothes. At 6:30, I split everyone up into three different groups lead by our Riding Instructors Ursula Moonwood, Elizabeth Ponyson, Nikolett Highfoot with help from a couple of our Champions, Sophia Puppyvalley and Hannah Dolphincamp. There were 3 different games played within all the groups. The first game, Sharks in the Water, was much like a game of tag altered to work inside SSO. 2 - 3 people would be chosen to be the "Sharks" and everyone else was the "Fish" they had to catch. To catch someone out the Sharks had to point at someone. It was quite entertaining watching everyone run around like headless chickens. Cue the the Jaws theme music! The second game was an ocean based quiz. There were two different objects (for my group, it was two different colour lanterns) that were marked A and B. When a question was called out, everyone had to run and stand next to the answer they thought was correct. Anyone who got it wrong was out of the game, and this continued until only one person was left standing to be crowned the winner. A few examples of the questions are: "Oceans cover what percentage of the Earth's surface? A; 70% or B: 60%", "Which ocean is the largest? A: Atlantic Ocean or B: Pacific Ocean", "How many of the worlds sharks are killed each year for their fins? A: 40 million or B: 10 million". The third and final game was called Sink or Swim, the aim of this game was to be able to name a bunch of different ocean themed things as quickly as possible or you would "sink", and be out of the game. Some examples of things people had to call out were, name a breed of shark, name an ocean, name a breed of fish, name a sea plant, and many more. At 7:15 all the groups met back up at New Hillcrest stables for a picture and a picnic while the club sent in their votes for who they wanted to join. After a long while of discussion between myself, our Leaders and our Riding Instructors it was decided that Willow Kittengarden, Violet Westbear and Sofia Waterstar would be joining today! A big welcome to them all, and a huge thank you to everyone that came to our open event today! It was great hanging out with you all. The Short List has been updated, and the Interest List is soon to follow with all our new applications. I hope to see you all again at our next open event on the 16th August! Until then, thanks for reading!
